The Baldwin Fund memorializes Ralph Lyman Baldwin and was created in 1955 by his wife, Christine Reese Baldwin. Ralph Baldwin was the founder of the Choral Club of Hartford in 1907 and conducted it for over 30 years, composing and arranging music.
Each year since, scholarship aid and grants have been awarded from the fund. Its three trustees who provide the guidance under the terms of the trust are headed up by Robert Bonato. The other trustees are: Terry Crescimanno and Michael Boller.
Recently awards have been made to guest performers to enhance the Choral Club programs.
