Theodore O. Brundage

Ted Brundage, a senior at Kingswood-Oxford School, began playing the violin at age five in the Suzuki method with Linda Embser at The Hartford Conservatory. After winning the Honors Competition at the conservatory in sixth grade, Ted began studying advanced technique and repertoire with Pang An in Avon, CT, while maintaining a coaching relationship with Ms. Embser.  He also studies piano and voice with Richard Wm. Donohue of Cromwell, CT.

Ted is the concertmaster of the string ensemble at Kingswood-Oxford School and principal violin with the school's Wyvern Chamber Players. He is a member of and performs regularly with the Connecticut Valley Chamber Orchestra and the New England Chamber Choir's instrumental ensemble.

Ted serves as concertmaster and soloist for the Sol Solis Chamber Consort, and has been a featured soloist playing the Bruch G minor Violin Concerto with the West Hartford Symphony Orchestra. Ted's violin was handmade by Randell Reid of Hartford, CT.
